Best Locations for Photo Sessions in Aruba
Aruba has many breathtaking sceneries and backdrops. The beaches are among the top rated worldwide. But the ones who have explored the island will tell you that there is so much more than only beaches. Here are some beach and non-beach locations that make great spots for your Aruba photography session. Palm Beach may well be the most popular location because that is where all the large beach resorts are located. As the name says, a beach with many palm trees. Eagle Beach offers wide open sand plains that are great for large groups. This locations also hosts the famous “Divi Trees” on the beach. The best time of day to take pictures at the trees is in the early morning because it can get very crowded during the day or at sunset. The Bushiribana Ruins offer great backdrops for a couples photo session or “trash the dress” type of photo shoot. The scenes are very rustic and adventurous. Arikok National Park is the perfect place to add Aruba’s nature into your photos. One must-do spot is a beautiful bay called Boca Prins with rough waters and splashing waves that make great backgrounds. The national park is also home to the famous Guadirikiri Caves. You can actually take photos inside the cave. At the far end of the island you will find Baby Beach. This beach is known for its shallow water, hence the name. This is a great location for “trashing the dress” in the ocean. One the opposite side of the island is the well known California Lighthouse which offers great views over Aruba’s north end. Right next to the lighthouse are the Westpunt Sand Dunes, a great location for photos at sunset. As seen on Instagram #aruba one of the most popular spots is Flamingo Beach, one of the beaches on Renaissance Island. The flamingo’s are very friendly and will flock around you for some snap shots. This island is a private island pertaining to the Renaissance and is only accessible by water taxi.
